AMAZING FOLDING ALBUM

 Paper Folder Technique Challenge

This album was created created for a folding technique challenge on Club Scrap for the month of January.  This album reminds me of a version of the exploding box album that I have made.  All paper in this album is from the Cinema Kit, embellishments are from the kit also and some from my stash.

This album is really easy to make and can be made in various sizes.  I chose to make the 6 x 6 album.

To make the album:

Supplies needed:  3, 12 x 12 sheets of cardstock, coordinating paper to decorate panels with, light weight chip board for front and back covers, embellishments to decorate panels and cover.

Step 1 - score each 12 x 12 sheet of cardstock horizontal and vertically at 6 inches to form 4, 6 inch square.

Step 2 - score each sheet diagonal once

You will end with a 12 x 12 sheet that has2m 6 inch solid squares and 2 6 inch squares that are folded diagonal.

Step 3 - Use bone folder to define all folded creases.

Step 4 - Join all 3, 12 x 12 sheets by attaching (overlapping) a solid square from all three sheets side by side with adhesive.

Step 5 - fold book like an accordion, tucking in folds where needed.

Step 6.  Create Cover using 6 x 6 chipboard and attaching a sheet of decorative paper of your choice for front and back cover.

Ribbon can be used as a closure by attaching to back panel before attaching cover or a belly band can be created instead.  I chose ribbon because I'm not sure how thick it will get once embellishments are added inside.

Decorate as you like.  Thank you for stopping by my blog.
